Kiwanis is Service-
Kiwanis International began in 1915 in Detroit, Michigan. Since then, the organization has grown to about 8,200 clubs in 80 nations and geographic areas around the world-fulfilling our motto "We Build."

Sponsors a Christmas Party for young children in the community	Sponsors a Halloween Parade for children in the community
Sponsor children for Kamp Kiwanis	Sponsors Senior Bingo at Van Rensselaer Manor
Sponsors a Classie Lassie Team	Answers phones at WMHT
Raises funds for the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Unit at the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical	Sponsors a Senior Bowling Tournament
Provides Christmas gifts to residents of Bowen Cottage at VanDerheyden Hall	Provides Spring Flowers for sign at Town Office
Provides graduation awards for students in the Gardner Dickinson, St. Judes, Catholic High, Belltop, Vanderheyden, and LaSalle Schools.	Participates in Memorial Day Parade
Provides food baskets to needy families at Thanksgiving and Christmas	Cleans Main Avenue from Jacks Drive In to Valentis Gravel
